Welcome to the website of our church, which is celebrated its 700th anniversary in 2007. St Thomas the Martyr Parish Church lies in the heart of historic Up Holland, a Lancashire village that was mentioned in the Domesday Book. It is a Church of England parish church. On this site you will find many interesting bits of information, whether you are looking for news of church events, services or the people involved, or purely interested in learning more about the historic building and village. Click on the buttons to the left of this page to find out more. Up-to-date church notices can be found on the News page. Also the 2007 Events page will give you a full list of all the special events that happened in our anniversary year. Our sister church, Christ The Servant in Digmoor, Skelmersdale also has a great website- click here to have a browse. We have also put together a page of some trusted websites should you wish to use the web to assist you in prayer and your Christian faith. Click here to have a look. If you have any news, articles or ideas of what you would like to see on this site, then please e-mail the webmaster by clicking here. A new layout of website is presently being worked on and will be live very soon. Enjoy your visit! Ven. Peter
