You can see part of the excellent display above. Many artists had painted special pieces of the church and it was great to see such a colourful display.
You can see the activities of this group and learn a lot more about them by visiting their website - click here to have a look.

SUNDAY 15th APRIL: REV'D DICK ALLEN...VISITING PREACHER
This was the third in the series of past rectors and curates visiting to preach at three Sunday services, and today it was Dick Allen's turn. Dick came to Up Holland in 1971 and spent 3 years as the Curate at St Thomas's - our church was the scene of his first Communion, Baptism, Wedding and Funeral, so this time is obviously one he will never forget! He then moved to become Team Vicar at Christ the Servant, Digmoor for several more years.

He shared many of his memories during his sermon, ranging from keeping his motorbike (all 90cc's worth) in his landlady's front room in Dingle Road, to playing cricket for Dalton with our very own Head Server Brian Sixsmith!
He is now vicar at St Peter's, Williton, Somerset, but is still very fondly remembered by many at our church, evidenced by the huge group of people queueing up to speak to him.
