As with the internet in general, some discernment is necessary in order to sift out the helpful and creative. Here are some sites that you might find useful - click on the blue underlined 'hyperlink' to go straight to the relevant site... Sacred Space: www.sacredspace.ie provides a daily reflection where the page leads you gently through a time of prayerwith a scripture reading, time for pondering and personal prayer. Pray as you go: www.pray-as-you-go.org.uk provides a 'podcast' (a downloadable sound file for you to listen to on your PC, iPod or mp3 player) for each weekday. It lasts about 10 minutes and you are led through a similar process to Sacred Space above, but it also includes music. Approaches to Prayer: www.annunciationtrust.org.uk/approaches offers ideas and guidance on a wide range of ways of spending time with God. Common Worship: http://cofe.anglican.org/worship/dailyprayer The Church of England offers the daily offices, with the lectionary readings each day. Bible: www.biblegateway.com offers access to a wide range of Bible translations (over 70, including the NIV and The Message) which you can search and use. If you are aware of any other internet resources that might be of use to our church members, please e-mail the Webmaster.
