Notices from Sunday 30th November: Advent Sunday

Keeping the church clean and/or open - following the recent meeting about this, a list is now in the porch for those to put their name down who can help in any way. Please consider if you can help out...many hands make light work!

Parish Pantomime - taking place week commencing 16th Feb 2009 (half-term week). If you would like to be involved backstage please contact Janet Heighton on 01695 728091.

Victorian Christmas Fayre - Saturday 6th December, in church 1pm-4.30pm. Lots of stalls, including cakes, fancy goods, tombola, china, jams and chutneys, toys, sweets, etc. Any items for stalls are very welcome and can be taken into church on Friday 5th December from 1pm to 6pm and on the Saturday from 9am to 11am.

Anniversary DVD: remember that festival year of 2007? Well, a 20 minute DVD has been produced using the video footage of Peter and Pat and will be available for purchase at all services on Sunday 14th December - a great idea for Christmas! Price £7 with all profits going to church. There will only be 100 copies produced so if you would like to pre-order your copy, please e-mail Ian Cleverdon

Pemberton Old Wigan JJB Brass Band concert - Saturday 20th December, 7.30pm in church. Tickets £6 and are available from the Clergy or Sue Swailes on 01695 577532.

ANNIVERSARY DINNER DANCE, HOLLAND HALL - Friday 30th January 2009. Tickets £30 from the Churchwardens. Places limited - put your name down TODAY!

Altar flowers - if you require access to church to arrange the flowers could you please contact Pat on 01695 622936 to agree a convenient time to do them.
