| Saturday 20th June 2009 saw a fantastic spectacle of colour, community and celebration in Up Holland as the whole community got together for a Pageant Parade through Up Holland and Festival on the fields of St Thomas the Martyr CE Primary School, Mill Lane, Up Holland. Here's what's happened... PROCESSION 1pm: the Pageant Procession depicting the Year Of The Child left from the field at the junction of Ormskirk Road and Newgate Road.

Medieval Market: plants, herbs, cheese, bread, cakes, jams, pies, BBQ, vegetables
Refreshments: tea, coffee, scones, cakes, hot dogs, ice cream, tuck shop, candy floss
