UP HOLLAND COMMUNITY PAGEANT AND FESTIVAL: SATURDAY 23rd JUNE 2007

Saturday 23rd June saw a fantastic spectacle of colour, community and celebration in Up Holland as the whole community got together for a Pageant Parade through Up Holland and Festival on the fields of St Thomas the Martyr CE Primary School, Mill Lane, Up Holland. The festivities were being held to celebrate the 700th Anniversary of St Thomas The Martyr Parish Church.

All the schools and churches in Up Holland were represented. There were also many local organisations in attendance - take a look through the many photos that were taken during the day on the pages linked below. We also saw literally thousands of people on the roads of the procession and in the event field throughout the day. This truly was a memorable day in the life of Up Holland!

Finally, the clergy would like to say a big, big thank you to the many, many people without whom the Pageant would not have been the success it was. There are far too many to list. Perhaps we will list them in the future, but in the meantime sit back, flick through the conected pages and enjoy reliving the wonderful experience that was the Up Holland Pageant!
